It is time once again to start planning for Camp Gottastitch, November 9th—11. Our Camp theme is Stitchers of the Caribbean, but, as all good reality productions do, there’s a twist!
Previous campers have asked for an option to stay another night so they could take full advantage of stitching all day on Sunday and leave Monday morning. This year, we’ve negotiated a rate with the hotel for campers who wish to do so. There is still an option for just staying Friday and Saturday night—check the registration form for details.
This is Camp Gottastitch’s twenty-first year pampering you with a stitching retreat full of laughter, stitching, gifts and fun. We are grateful for our camp veterans and our new camping friends alike. We are planning special trunk shows, special kits and more for all of our guests. We are also excited to be able to offer you a larger meeting space in 2018—more room to move around and more room to bring your stitching friends!
We will once again be offering an optional tour with Troyer’s Amish Country Tours. The 3 hour narrated guided tour takes you through the country side, learning history, shopping “where the locals do” and enjoying the scenery of Holmes County.
The Camp Gottastitch facebook page is a great way to interact with Camp staff and other campers between now and Camp. Links to favorite places and other fun stuff will be posted periodically.
We sold out quickly last year—so if you want to go to camp—act fast!
We are so excited to be able to provide you with a fun and relaxing time to get together and stitch. We know that there are many other retreats that are out there and we are honored that you have chosen to support us.
See you soon!
Jennie, Carol, and the Camp Gottastitch Staff
